Working predominantly with digital media, Chayse Auclair has been able to contribute his take on themes regarding the internet, technology, and social media through his on-going practice. Auclair who was born in South Florida, takes influences from dadaism, applying it to his satirical takes on modern communication. While his work is primarily made using digital media he has more recently worked in sculpture, combining disassembled electronics from the 80’s and 90’s into Camera Obscura (2023) a bizarre concoction of parts that let the viewer see through a lens of dated technology. He is graduating with a BA in Studio Art from Florida Atlantic University in Spring 2023.
