Rose Colacci is an original artist from Middlesex, New Jersey. In 2019 she moved to Boca Raton, Florida to further her education in art. Rose will be graduating with her BA degree in studio art in Spring 2023. Her sculptures and ceramic work address the construction of gender, beauty, and growth. Rose utilizes her ceramic and unique sculptures as a forum for interdisciplinary exploration. She often employs nature, women’s identity, and the love for her bright use of color as source materials for her work. Rose’s work has been displayed in a group exhibition at Florida Atlantic University’s BA Online Exhibition, BAck Stage Art. She will continue to show up more throughout her journey while finding her artistic identity.
